About the event
Cookbooks & Convos is a celebration of culinary excellence and an invitation to connect, learn, and be inspired by the rich tapestry of women’s contributions to the culinary world. City Wide Social is thrilled to collab with Cookbooks & Convos for its opening event this year. Join our communal table at several events this October where you can learn more about the cookbook, enjoy a meal, and find community!
On Tuesday, October 8th, Kampar will welcome Chef Rose Previte of Michelin Star Awarded restaurants Maydan and Compass Rose!
Starting upstairs at the Kongsi at 5 p.m., guests will be presented with "The Road to Your Favorite Bite", a five course tasting menu inspired by Chef Previte's groundbreaking book, "Maydan", which explores the stories behind the flavors of Lebanon and beyond. Chef Previte will join us in the Kongsi to answer your questions and sign copies of their cookbook!
Tickets include a copy of Maydan by Chef Previte, which you will be provided with onsite at the dinner. Note that tickets for this event do not include a 5% service fee, tax, gratuity or drinks.
